Three days, 3,000 exhibitors, 300,000 m² of space and over 200,000 professional buyers — that was the year-end report card for the hotel and catering industry at the Shenzhen World Exhibition & Convention Center from December 12–14, 2024. At Booth 7E31 in Hall 7, KAISON offered a different interpretation of “efficiency.”
A small booth, big questions
KAISON’s booth was not large, but the questions were unusually specific. “How do your machines perform in typhoon conditions?” “Does voltage fluctuation in Southeast Asia affect the compressor?” They pointed to the same underlying need: visitors were not just looking for an ice machine — they were searching for a long-term partner. Having quietly become a one-stop solution provider for several well-known brands, KAISON answered these concrete questions with equally concrete lab test data and records.
Two-way screening at the booth
In an environment where exhibitor numbers grew 50% year on year, KAISON’s strategy was not to welcome everyone, but to precisely target niche segments: purchasing directors of domestic tea chains, importers from the Middle East, brands expanding into Southeast Asia, and local bakery and coffee owners preparing for chain expansion. Over three days the booth received more than a hundred batches of professional buyers, resulting in over a dozen initial cooperation intentions.
Exhibiting is a test of efficiency
For a manufacturer like KAISON, a trade show tests the entire chain of responsiveness — from capturing needs, to presenting solutions, to post-event follow-up. On the evening of December 14, while most were leaving the hall, the KAISON team had already collated and categorized all prospect data. Before the Spring Festival, these leads would gradually turn into sample orders, factory-visit arrangements and volume contracts. True competitiveness does not always live in the spotlight — it also lives in every serious question-and-answer exchange at a booth.
