A 40kg cube ice machine built around a 385 mm gap
The KN-40 exists for one reason: some counters simply do not have 45 centimetres to spare. At 385 x 400 x 720 mm it is the narrowest cabinet in KAISON’s 40kg cube class, and at 180 W it is also the lowest-draw. If you are fitting an ice machine into an existing bar run, a milk tea kiosk, or an office pantry where the cabinetry is already built, this is the model that goes in without joinery work.
Daily output is 40 kg of clear, square cube ice. The built-in bin holds 10 kg, which is sized for steady all-day draw-off rather than for absorbing a single large service peak.

Inside the machine
Wanbao compressor
The KN-40 runs a high-end domestic Wanbao compressor. In a 180 W machine the practical benefit is noise as much as efficiency — this unit is quiet enough to sit in a customer-facing space or a small office without becoming background hum.
Nickel-plated purple copper evaporator
Copper carries heat away from the ice mould faster than the aluminium used in cheaper machines, so the freeze cycle completes sooner. The food-grade nickel plating on top of it resists corrosion and keeps the cubes clear and odourless over years of service.
Dual water inlet
Two supply modes are supported. A direct tap connection suits a fixed installation with plumbing already in place. The bottled / gallon inlet covers the situations where a water line does not exist — pop-up kiosks, exhibition stands, rented office space — which is often exactly where a 385 mm machine is wanted in the first place.
201 stainless steel housing
The exterior is 201 stainless steel, and every unit ships wrapped in a white protective film so the panels arrive unscratched after container transit.
KN-40 or KS-36?
Both produce 40 kg a day. The difference is what you are short of. Choose the KN-40 when width is the constraint — it is 65 mm narrower and draws 20 W less. Choose the KS-36 when you have the width to spare and would rather have the larger 12 kg bin to ride out a rush.
Need more than 40 kg a day? The 80kg class starts with the KX-78. The full range is on the cube ice machine page.
Wholesale and OEM
The compact carton is optimised for container loading rate, which is what actually moves the per-unit landed cost on a full-container order. We supply the KN-40 factory-direct for wholesale and distribution, and the cabinet accepts OEM branding. Send us your target volume and destination port and we will quote.
