40 kg a day, with a bigger buffer behind it
Daily output is only half the question with a commercial ice machine. The other half is whether the bin can cover your busiest thirty minutes. The KS-36 is KAISON’s answer for venues where ice leaves in bursts: the same 40 kg / 24 h production as the KN-40, but a 12 kg bin instead of 10 kg, so more finished ice is sitting ready when the lunch or evening rush lands.
The cabinet measures 450 x 405 x 750 mm and draws 200 W. It is a built-in bin unit, meaning the ice maker and the storage compartment are one sealed appliance — no separate bin to specify, plumb or find space for.

Inside the machine
Nickel-plated purple copper evaporator
Cube clarity and cycle speed both come back to the evaporator. Purple copper conducts heat out of the mould quickly, so batches release sooner; the food-grade nickel plating over it stops corrosion and keeps the ice free of any metallic taste — which matters more in a milk tea shop or cocktail bar than almost anywhere else.
Wanbao compressor
A high-end domestic Wanbao compressor drives the circuit. It holds output when the room is warm, which is the condition that separates a machine that makes its rated capacity from one that only does so on a cool day.
Dual water inlet
The KS-36 takes either a direct mains connection for a permanently plumbed installation, or bottled and gallon water where no line is available. The second mode is what makes the unit workable in leased premises and temporary sites.
201 stainless steel housing
201 stainless steel panels resist wear and rust in a wet back-of-house environment. A white protective film is applied at the factory and stays on through shipping and installation.
KS-36 or KN-40?
Identical daily output, different priorities. The KS-36 gives you 2 kg more standing ice and a wider chassis. The KN-40 is 65 mm narrower and 20 W lighter on power, for installations where the gap is fixed. If your peak demand is outgrowing 40 kg entirely, move up to the KM-78, which carries a 20 kg bin.
